Artist's Comments

Of course, the majority of Goths are unique in their style and music preferences. However, within the subculture there are certain "types" of Goth with particular characteristics. And it can be fun to classify them. Naturally, classifications for each "type" vary from person to person, so you may disagree with what I say here!

I myself am a big fan of Star Trek, love science, participate in role play, spend way to much time on the computer and speak Japanese. I am most certainly a Geek.

yeah, we're all geeky.. Although I do know heaps about movies, videogames, books, and goth symbolism.. which often bores my friends..
But I dress romantic ^_^ being goth rocks

Brilliant! I love the cthulu :) My friend has a plushie cthulu that she had to order from the US, but he's very cute and was well worth it :D And yes I would describe myself as geeky (although probably more nerdy, hehe)

And yes, we are all most certainly geeky. It's so funny because it's true! :D

OMG My beginnings. HAHA Ever hear about the "sci-fi Gothic" Tabletop game called Warhammer 40,000? That is the Geekiest aspect of me. Nothing like Space Marines armed with Plasma weaponry and Swords fighting off Demons Psychics (If you go to my profile you can find a few of the miniatures I painted which include to Chaos Space Marines and an Imperial Guard custom command squad). I'm also a huge fan of Metroid, Star Wars, Lord of the Rings, and Cthulu ^^.
On an artistic note, I love how they are depicted. I know 2 or 3 geeks that look like that, and at one point, while in transition from the gamer to the Goth, I too looked like that

Heh, this one made me smile,as it took me back to my gothy beginnings. I don't consider myself as much of a gamer as I used to, but it is not uncommon to walk into my room and see me playing Dawn of War on my computer.

I want a plushie cthulhu too, but since I've never read Lovecraft, I feel rather unjustified in buying one.

A gothic physicist? Yep, definately qualifies as Geek Goth ;)

Thank you very much!
