Of course, the majority of Goths are unique in their style and music preferences. However, within the subculture there are certain "types" of Goth with particular characteristics. And it can be fun to classify them. Naturally, classifications for each "type" vary from person to person, so you may disagree with what I say here!
I myself am a big fan of Star Trek, love science, participate in role play, spend way to much time on the computer and speak Japanese. I am most certainly a Geek.

I feel like a geeky goth could also be into Paleontology, Forensics, Medical Science, Phlebotomy, osteology, toxicology, Entomology, and a lot of sciences, especially the ones that require you to look at a dead body
